The NWE Programme is delighted to announce that our second call for capitalisation received the impressive number of 39 applications! The Joint Secretariat will now assess them and the Monitoring Committee will take the approval decisions on 24 March 2021.
The Programme appreciates all efforts involved in preparing the applications, particularly under the current COVID-19 restrictive scenario.
The received applications cover the three Programme priorities:
- Priority 1 (Innovation): 14 applications.
- Priority 2 (Low carbon): 16 applications.
- Priority 3 (Resource and materials efficiency): 9 applications.
The second call was open to all NWE projects from calls 1 to 9, as well as the targeted call on renewable energy, whose proposals have not been approved in the first call for capitalisation. This includes both running and closed NWE approved projects from all three priorities.
This call was organised in the framework of the programme's capitalisation strategy, which comprises the development of various tools and activities aiming to maximise the impact of project results.
