76 project proposals received in call 1!

 

The first Interreg NWE call for projects in the 2021-2027 period received 76 proposas after its closure on Wednesday 15 June.

The NWE Call 1 was open to open to all programme priorities and Specific Objectives (SOs): P1: Climate and environment (13 applications), P2: Energy transition (17 applications), P3: Circular economy (22 applications), P4: Innovation and resilience (9 applications) and P5: Inclusive society (15 applications). 

The  Joint secretariat will now assess the applications received, and Member State representatives will meet on 14-15 September in Saarbrucken to take decisions. 

Approved step 1 projects will be invited to attend a step 2 workshop in Lille on 6-7 October 2022. The attendance at this meeting will be mandatory for all approved lead partners and registrations will be upon invitation only.

Interreg North-West Europe supports cooperation across borders in 7 countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Switzerland) by funding projects involving partners with a joint approach to tackle common issues. The aim is to reduce the disparities among regions and raise the overall level of performance across the whole area.
