According to the statement of the Chancellor of the Exchequers on Monday 3 October 2016, the UK guarantees the full funding of all projects approved before the date of the UK leaving the EU.
Therefore, if the UK meets its target of filing the art.50 exit statement in March 2017 and the negotiations take the planned 2 years, the Interreg NWE Programme can approve projects with UK partners and UK lead-partners until March 2019 and their funding will be guaranteed until the end of the project.
