The sustainable renovation of a condominium is a very complex challenge with many legal, social and financial obstacles to overcome. Numerous (highrise) condominiums date from the late sixties and are in need of deep renovation. The Interreg-NWE project Accelerating Condominium Energy Retrofitting (ACE-Retrofitting) wants to link the condominium co-owners and the building sector.
At this conference, you will discover the outlines of the urban and energy policy of the city of Antwerp. Learn how a local government can collaborate with syndics, home-owners’ associations and construction professionals. Find out how tools can stimulate them towards ambitious renovations. Based on real cases both the bottlenecks and solutions for these renovation projects are explained.
The conference will be in Dutch, simultaneous translation in English will be available.

Het verduurzamen van appartementsgebouwen is een bijzonder complexe uitdaging met veel juridische, sociale en financiële knelpunten. Veel hoogbouw appartementsgebouwen dateren van eind jaren ’60 en zijn toe aan een grondige renovatie. Het Europese Interreg-NWE project Accelerating Condominium Energy Retrofitting (ACE-Retrofitting) slaat de brug tussen mede-eigenaars en de bouwsector.
Op deze studiedag ontdek je de contouren van het ruimtelijk en energiebeleid van de stad Antwerpen. Je leert hoe een lokale overheid via renovatiecoaching kan samenwerken met syndici, appartementseigenaren en bouwprofessionals. Hoe stimuleren de ontwikkelde tools hen tot ambitieuze renovatie? Tot slot worden knelpunten en oplossingen voor de uitvoering van renovatieprojecten toegelicht aan de hand van praktijkcases.
Deze studiedag is gratis, maar inschrijving is verplicht. Er geldt een no-show fee van 50 euro.
