Today, in Nantes, the partners of the INTERREG project ASPECT presented their innovative results to companies from the maritime and aerospace sectors. Among the ASPECT innovations so far:
- An advanced model that calculates friction in sheet metal forming as a function of all relevant process conditions, including temperature
- An efficient industrial simulation combining accuracy with speed, for real-time predictions
- A novel lubricant, with much more stable properties during the process.
French companies such as ACB, Halcyon, Lampa, Loiretech and Constellium have exposed their challenges related to sheet metal forming. Cross-fertilisation opportunities have been spotted, as a basis for new innovation projects. Stay tuned!
