What information do we collect about you?
The ALG-AD project is required to collect the following information in order to disseminate information on the project to interested parties, stakeholders and potential future users of the technology under development. The type of data which is being collected and processed includes: • Your name
• Details of the organisation you work for
• Your job title
• Email address
• Contact telephone
• Company website address
How will your information be used?
The information you provide will be used by the project to allow us to keep in touch with you on progress being made on the project, to inform you of project milestones, to invite you to events which might be of interest and to benefit from your unique insight and perspective.
What is our legal basis for processing your personal data?
We are using this information about you because under Article 6 – personal data processing is necessary in order for ALG-AD to carry out its research work in the public interest.
Who receives your information?
Information about you will be shared only with project partners in charge of the specific work packages of communication, the decision support tools and long term effects.
Transfers to third countries and safeguards in place:
ALG-AD will not transfer data to countries outside the EU.
How long will your information be held?
We have an obligation to retain data concerning European Union research projects for up to five years after the end of the project (unless further retention is requested by auditors).
Automated decision making and profiling
We will not be using automated decision making or profiling methods.
Security of your information
All electronic data will be stored on a password-protected computer file and will be shared with a limited number of people who have direct responsibility for the management of the communication, long term effects and decision support tools work packages.
What are your rights?
You have a right to access your personal information, to object to the processing of your personal information, to rectify, to erase, to restrict and to port your personal information.
