Dr Barbara Clement-Larosiere

Barbara has been working in the field of microalgae for over 10 years.

She graduated from the University of La Rochelle, France in 2007 with her masters degree in marine biology.

In 2012 she obtained her PhD in Biotechnology (Ecole Centrale Paris, France) after working for 3 years on Chlorella production for CO2 remediation.

Since 2014 Barbara has worked as a Research & Development project manager at Cooperl, developing industrial production and biorefinery of microalgae for food, feed and cosmetics.

In the ALG-AD project, Barbara will supervise the french production pilot, along with colleagues from UBO and CNRS, on Cooperl’s site and will be in charge of the refinery of the algal biomass for the feed trials.

Emeline Rousseau

Emeline has worked as a research technician at Cooperl for the last 2 years, and has been working on large scales production systems (raceways and photobioreactors).

Since 2007 she has worked as a technician on Spirulina production on several industrial and farms sites in France.

For the ALG-AD project she will be working on the production pilot settled at Cooperl’s site.
