On September 27th, 2017, BioBase4SME will organise a workshop on the valorization of plants entitled “The Collaboration Plan(t)”. It will be held at Colijnsplaat, NL in the “Bio Innovations Garden”.
TOPICS
We invited speakers to talk about examples of biomass that have great potential for the transition to the biobased economy: Sorghum (Walter de Milliano, Hoeve Dierkensteen), hemp (Daan Kuiper, Crop Eye) and miscanthus. These plants need to be fractionated. This is where (small-scale) biorefinery comes in. Marieke Bruins, WUR will speak about different technologies and developments on this field.
Mathijs van Campenhout (REWIN) will present different ways of financing business cases that involve multiple parties. Cor van Oers will talk about the role the Biobased Innovations Garden could play.
It will be a great networking opportunity due to drinks at the end.
