- What is the highlight of your product? The Nomade solution is a simple SOS alarm button which includes a GPS tracker. It can be worn anywhere as a neckless or a key ring. It is possible to send an alert even outside so it allows eldery people or people with dementia to be geolocalised at any time. Thus, relatives can be reassured and warned in case the beneficiary leaves the area. Moreover, this GPS tracker can call for help our call center 24/7 or close relatives even outside.
- Why did you participate in the Certification-D project? We participated in the project to understand if our product could be used by people with dementia. We also wanted to get feedback on the use.
- What is your most important lesson learnt?
With this solution we want to help elderlies and people with dementia even outside their house. We also noticed that the product is easy to use because the SOS button is visible, but that it could still be improved. For example, the product should not be stigmatizing to wear and should be available to be worn in many ways.
