FCRBE final event on 16-17 November 2021

The FCRBE final event will take place in Brussels (Belgium) on the 16th and 17th of  November and will be partly streamed live.

Since October 2018, the FCRBE project partners have joined efforts to encourage the reuse of building materials in the construction industry in Northwestern Europe. The project involved a wide range of activities, from shedding light on the reclamation trade by visiting dealers to developing supporting tools for architects and specifiers, implementing pilot projects, and raising awareness of the benefits and realities of reuse.

The Final Event will permit to present all the deliverables form the project, encourage the discussion and show you concrete cases.

Registration

Registration is mandatory, whether you wish to attend the event on site in Brussels or online. Please register via this link before 9 November 2021. All practical information can be found in the detailed program as well.

About FCRBE

Today in NW-Europe, only 1% of building elements are reused following their first application. Although a large number of elements are technically reusable, they end up being recycled by crushing or melting, or disposed. The result is a high environmental impact and a net loss of economic value. The FCRBE project aims to increase by +50%, the amount of reclaimed building elements being circulated on its territory by 2032.

The FCRBE partnership is looking forward to meet you there or to share the FCRBE results online with you!
