CleanMobilEnergy partner organisation, EIfI-Tech, will participate in the 6th International Conference on E-Mobility Charging Infrastructure Europe 2020. The event will take place in Berlin from the 31st March till the 2nd April 2020. The annual meeting connects manufacturers (OEMs), utilities, research, non-profit organisations and governmental bodies with the goal of developing a sustainable e-mobility ecosystem in Europe. The event will address the latest developments, challenges and opportunities of charging infrastructure in Europe in an interactive way. The conference will also report on practical case studies on the implementation of new business models and technologies.
Within the keynote panel on the e-mobility landscape, strategic collaborations and customer needs, Chris Ashe (Director of EIfI-Tech) will represent the CME project.
Specifically, this keynote panel will address the following issues:
- Promotion of an EU-wide “open grid system”, with electrons flowing freely between countries.
- A “bottom-up revolution”, changing the E-mobility landscape from the local level upwards.
- What are the customer needs and how are they changing because of Electric Vehicles? Making the charging experience smooth and convenient for the end customer though unified RFID cards, access and payments.
