The city of Hastings, partner in CAN, is hosting ‘Sustainability on Sea’, a micro festival focusing on sustainable initiatives in the area, from 21 to 30 September. The aim is to promote a sustainable future by encouraging positive behaviour change through a wide range of activities.
On September 27, Energise Sussex Coast offers a free renewable energy workshop giving an introduction to renewable energy, with a particular focus on Solar PV. It will offer the opportunity to look at some of the different technologies and how they work as well as to discuss the pros and cons of each one. Community energy and the local potential for more community owned renewable energy generation will be at the centre of the workshop.
You can book your free visit here. It is suitable for beginners up and everyone is invited to contribute their knowledge and expertise to the discussions.
This workshop is funded by the EU Interreg Climate Active Neighbourhoods project.
