Climate Active Neighbourhoods at EUSEW 2019

On June 18 to 20, EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), the annual flagship event organised by the European Commission took place. It brought together public authorities, private companies, NGOs and consumers to promote initiatives to save energy and move towards renewables for clean, secure and efficient power. The CAN project was represented there by the city of Brest and Climate Alliance. It was a great opportunity to present the results of the project to an interested audience as well as to promote the best practices drawn from it and bundled up in our Practice Cube. Through networking, the city of Brest also found ways to widen its action, most notably in the field of energy poverty.
