In the Netherlands 595.000 apartments are deemed to be in need of renovation, if not today then definitely in the near future. Most of these apartments are privately owned. To make Net Zero Energy refurbishments a realistic choice for homeowner associations, new financial mechanisms are required. Stroomversnelling (the Dutch organisation within the Energiesprong network) is taking on this challenge and working together with 30 stakeholders to generate new financial constructions as part of the E=0 project.
