eHUBS project featured during Share Mobility Rocks 2021

The third and special Covid-19 edition of this unconventional symposium Shared Mobility Rocks took place all over the world on March 3 & 4, 2021 and was a 24h marathon edition. During these 24 hours, Autodelen.net and Mpact (both eHUBS partners) locked themselves up in a Belgian studio. From there they virtually travelled across the globe. They started in Ghent and then went to Brussels, Leeds, Lima, Chicago, Melbourne, Phnom Penh, Tokyo, Kampala with a last stop in Lviv.

During the second session in Brussels, Mpact guided us through the concept of eHUBS, accompanied by the Belgian comedian and presenter Bruno Coppens. The session showed concrete realisations of eHUBS in Leuven. Furthermore, the session welcomed two Belgian ministers of Transport. George Gilkinet, Federal Minister of Transport, stated the importance of eHUBS in multimodal travel behaviour. Elke Van den Brandt on the other side went deeper into the ambitions of the Brussels Region about eHUBS.
