FCCP participated in Hannover fair 2022
Industry plays a key role on the road to climate neutrality. To protect the climate and safeguard their own competitiveness, industrial companies must noticeably reduce their CO2 emissions. Investments in digitized, energy-efficient and resource-conserving production processes are key levers in this regard. Only with the help of state-of-the-art industrial technologies can renewable energies be generated and distributed in sufficient quantities and production become climate-neutral. "HANNOVER MESSE 2022" showed how the transformation to a climate-neutral industry is becoming a reality.
DLR as the FCCP project lead partner was also able to successfully present one of the Fuel Cell Cargo pedelecs (FCCP) from the project at Hannover Messer and introduce it to visitors to the trade fair. Important and influential personalities from DLR and the local region also took a look at the new technology. The group leader for systems and technology development at the Institute of Vehicle Concepts, Florian Heckert, was happy to explain to all curious visitors the stack developed at DLR and the fuel cell system that powers the FCCP with hydrogen.
