The Interreg NWE project CHARM “Circular Housing Asset Renovation & Management” had its kick-off meeting on 11-12 february in the city of Eindhoven. As associate partners of CHARM, FCRBE representatives attended their “Inspiration meeting”, the open part of the kick-off meeting.
The Inspiration meeting started with a presentation of the European project BAMB (Building as Material Banks) and was followed by two workshops in which participants discussed together about circular economy in social housing and what strategies to follow. The group also visited the deconstruction company Woonbedrijf.
CHARM project has a very similar scope to FCRBE, that is why we are willing to work together and develop synergies between both projects. CHARM includes housing association partners (Paris Habitat, Accord Housing Association, Zonnige Kempen and Woonbedrijf), university partners (Delft and Birmingham) and other organisations (Kamp C and Europan Federation for Living).
