On June 2nd, the Chamber of Agriculture of Pays de la Loire (CAPDL) held an exhibition on renewable energy on its site of Laval, near the Laval Mayenne Technopole (LMT).
It was a one-day event dedicated to farmers in the Mayenne department.
CAPDL has 25 sites all over the Pays de la Loire region and 800 employees. CAPDL hosted 50 stands with many companies working on renewable energy in agriculture. This event was organised by ENRA53, an association of local companies linked to the renewable energies in agriculture (CAPDL, agricultural accountant, local authorities of the county of Mayenne). CAPDL was the main actor involved in the organization of this event.
Many kind of energies were on show such as wood chips, methanisation, PV panels on the roof, agrovoltaism, solar thermal energy. Also exhibiting were the sellers of equipments (PV panels, STE, Biomass boiler…), energy advisors, banks, electrical grid operators etc.
Fengtech and CAPDL held a common stand to show an innovative solar water heater and to present the Icare4farms project.
Around 20 people visited the stand and half of whom left their contact.
There were also 4 conferences about energy in agriculture as well as the inauguration of the Chamber’s PV power plant combined with energy storage in batteries.
