REEE 2023 conference

The 6th International Conference on Renewable Energy and Environment Engineering (REEE 2023) conference 23-25 August was held in Brest, France. Hervé Noël From the University of South Brittany presented a paper on Solar Thermal Energy.

It has been agreed by all United Nations Member States to work in coordination to achieve sustainable development. It is expected that most of the countries are working on achieving ambitious 2030 carbon emissions reduction targets, which bring into line with achieving net zero by the middle of this century. The world is making progress towards a sustainable society and making energy more sustainable and widely available (i.e. SDG7).

REEE2023 focuses on promoting quality research and real-world impact in an atmosphere of true international cooperation between scientists and engineers by bringing together world-class researchers, International Communities and Industrial heads to discuss the latest developments and innovations in the fields of Renewable and Environmental Engineering.

Some of the research articles on environment-friendly energy systems include

  • Renewable Energy Technologies (e.g.  Hydro, Solar, Wind, Offshore, Geo-Thermal, Bio, etc.)
  • Environment Friendly Energy Systems
  • Energy Processes and Conversion Systems
  • Electro-Mechanical Energy System
  • Electro-Chemical Energy System
  • Energy in Built Environment
  • Sustainable Transport including Electric Vehicles
  • Energy Storage
  • Sustainable Electrical Energy Systems
  • Smart Grid

Hervé presented a paper titled "Parametric study and long-term prediction of the production of a solar water heaters installation" which was written by Julien Gambade, Hervé Noël, Patrick Glouannec and Anthony Magueresse, in which they describe the ICaRE4Farms project and about their research into improving the technology.
