On Thursday and Friday, the 7th and 8th of April 2022, members from the IcaRE4Farms partners of AC3A, FengTech and Laval Mayenne Technopole will host open days on 3 different types of farms that have solar thermal energy installed on their farms. They will visit a calf rearing farm, a pig maternity farm, and a farm that processes its milk on-site.
The group of visitors will include farmers who are interested in installing STE on their own farms; companies that are interested in becoming installers of STE, companies that are interested in stocking the product and lastly technical advisors from agricultural organisations who advise on the differing types of renewable energies that can be installed on farms.
The purpose of the trip is to show how the system works and to get an opportunity to ask questions (knowledge sharing) from the farmers who have the plants already installed.
