First Steering Committee meeting of the IT4Anxiety project - Namur (Belgium)

Namur, Belgique

17 December 2019 - 17 December 2019

All the partners of the European Interreg NWE IT4Anxiety project met for a Steering Committee meeting on December 17, 2019. This event was held at the premises of the leading partner, CNP Saint-Martin, in Namur, Belgium.

After a welcome talk of Mr. Benoît Folens, director general of the CNP Saint-Martin, the partners started to work.

One of the key points was to clarified the involvement of the startups -partners or sub-partners of the project.  This is a significant issue as the IT4Anxiety's priorities are to imagine innovative solutions by startups taking into account the needs of patients and caregivers. These solutions will be developed in cooperation (patients, healthcare professionals, researchers, engineers, etc.), tested, scientifically proven and finally validated with a view to marketing them.

This first meeting enabled the 6 work packages leaders to emphasise the key elements written in the proposal, to plan the calendar for next events, and prepare the list of future actions. Thus, the IT4Anxiety project can be implemented in the first weeks of 2020.

The next event scheduled in January 23/24, 2020 will be a seminar organised by INTERREG in Lille. A steering meeting will be held in the same time with the work packages leaders of IT4Anxiety.
