In cooperation with Friends of the Earth Europe, RESCOOP and INFORSE, LOGiC will organise a session on "Solidarity Islands and Energy Communities: How Community Energy Alleviates Energy Poverty" on 6 June (14.00 - 15.30). The session will be part of the European Sustainable Energy Week 2018 (EUSEW) in Brussels, Belgium.
The aim of this session is to explore the role of energy communities in tackling energy remoteness and poverty with locally generated renewable energy. LOGiC will be represented by David Lecoque from ARE (ARE leads on LOGiC communications work package).
