ESNS is the primary meeting place for European music industry professionals, bringing the entire European music sector together in January. The festival with conference is an international hub to discover new (musical) talent, expand knowledge, network and doing business. During the conference, more than 150 panels, keynotes, interview workshops, drinks, award ceremonies and dinners take place on the latest developments in the European and international music, media, production and interactive industry. With a wide range of topics discussed by key professionals, innovators and pioneers, diversity is key at the ESNS conference, offering interesting programme components for all departments of music industry. In the evening, more than 350 European artists present themselves in more than 40 venues throughout the city centre of Groningen during the showcase festival.
At the ESNS conference during a seminar 'Time is running out!' on Thursday 17 January 2019 the GEM Tower was presented as a green energy solution for festivals. A scale model was shown in a stand during the 4 day conference.
