RED WoLF Summer School Virtual Conference

Online via Zoom

5 August 2021 - 6 August 2021

More than 100 students came together from different institutions to problem-solve challenges set to them by RED WoLF project partners. RED WoLF is an Interreg North-West Europe funded project which is tackling housing emissions through AI-driven smart renewables. SOS-UK is a project partner for RED WoLF, working to engage students with the project, and the summer school forms an important part of RED WoLF’s student engagement work.

The summer school has been running June-August 2021, and has been an opportunity for students from all disciplines to come together to develop creative solutions to real-world sustainability challenges, whilst developing their knowledge around sustainability solutions and building professional and academic skills.

The virtual conference concludes the summer school and will be held via zoom. The conference will feature 15 student presentations on topics including marketing low carbon energy technologies, engaging residents, optimising home battery performance and the impact of weather on energy solutions.

The conference will be held over two days, and attendees can join for one or both days.
