The Irish Government are in the process of developing a Micro-generation Support Scheme which will support new micro-generation deployment and deliver a route to market for citizens and communities.
This will enable both citizens and communities to generate their own renewable electricity from solar panels on their roofs and receive a fair price when they sell the excess into the grid.
There is an on-going consultation to gather stakeholder feedback on aspects of the proposed Micro-generation Support Scheme which may help to inform the delivery of the scheme. To find out more, please click the link above!
