On May 17, 2019 the meeting of the the joint working group energy of Interreg Greater Region in Esch/Alzette, Luxenbourg itook place.
Laura Jörg presented our RED WoLF project. Likewise, project partners of remarkable onging projects of Interreg V A provided insights into their status, such as Smart Border Initiative, GREeNEFF, PtH4GR2ID or ENERGIEWABEN. Strong synergies were identified.

On June 28, 2019 lead partner Giuseppe Colantuono from Leeds Beckett University and project partner Laura Jörg from ARGE SOLAR held meetings with Gemeinnützige Bau- und Siedlungsgesellschaft mbH (GBS) social housing organization and the local utility company Stadtwerke Saarlouis, Germany. Besides presenting the concept of RED WoLF project, GBS illustrated an ongoing and future construction site which all attendants also visited afterwards. In connection with the preparation of the AI-driven Hybrid Storage System of RED WoLF, Harri Oliveras and Steven Rink from Stadtwerke Saarlouis outlined several completed and ongoing projects regarding smart grid and local energy tradings. The objective of the meetings was to find out requirements, synergies and potential future cooperations to approach and achieve effects of the long-term workpackage of RED WoLF.
