Technical Meeting with Pilot Wakefield and District Housing (1)

A technical meeting was held in the management centre of Wakefield and District Housing (WDH), the RED WoLF project partner providing a Pilot of 18 homes in the Wakefield urban area in West Yorkshire, UK.

The meeting was focused on the engineering design of the RED WoLF hybrid storage solution for dwellings and its integration with photovoltaic (PV) arrays and the Power Grid.

The meeting was chaired by Simon Gutteridge, the project manager for WDH. RED WoLF's lead partner, Giuseppe Colantuono was present. Two WDH engineers attended and gave their expert input for implementing the RED WoLF solution in real houses.

It was decided that WDH will procure a design to an external consultancy, on the basis of which the RED WoLF equipment will be installed in the 18 Pilot houses. A similar procedure will be followed in the other 5 RED WoLF Pilots in UK, France and Republic of Ireland.
