On 27th and 28th November 2019, the ManuREsource conference is hosted by VCM in Hasselt, Belgium. ManuREsource is the conference in Western Europe for the manure treatment community. At this occasion, several members of the ReNu2Farm consortium will present (preliminary) results: Inès Verleden from Inagro will give a talk presenting preliminary results of our farmer survey giving insight on desired properties of recycling-derived fertilisers by the end-users. Tomas Van de Sande, also from Inagro, will have a poster illustrating the set-up of the field trials being carried out in Flanders with several nitrogen fertilisers from recycling, such as digestate, ammonium sulfate and ammonium nitrate. From NMI in Wageningen, Imke Harms will give a talk on the demand for recycled nutrients, N, P and K as well as organic matter in Northwest Europe. From Ghent University, there will be a poster describing the on-going pot experiments and N incubation experiments to assess the recycling-derived fertilisers like ammonium nitrate, ammonium sulphate, concentrate after evaporation, ammonia water and pig urine and their tailor-made blends. Additionally, also one round table will be moderated by the ReNu2Farm consortium: on the required properties and composition of recycling-derived fertilisers from the end-user perspective.
