Europe urgently needs to act

On May 26th, 2021, The Restart Project and Repair&Share participated in an action of the European R2R campaign in front of the European Parliament in Brussels. Our message was: Europe urgently needs to show more ambition to make printers more durable and repairable.

Although printers are often referred to as one of the most problematic products in terms of early failure, they have for years escaped product policy rules under Ecodesign. We believe it is time to set mandatory minimum requirements to make printers last longer!
