On Thursday 23 September, Slawomir Tokarski, Director in charge of Interreg Programmes at the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy within the European Commission (DG REGIO), accompanied by representatives of Interreg North West Europe and the Regional Council met with Philippe Hourdain and Alain LEFEBVRE, Ports de Lille, to discuss the commitments of Ports de Lille and NORLINK Fédération in European regional cooperation projects.
On this occasion, the delegation visited the Centre multimodal de distribution urbaine (CMDU) of Ports de Lille, financed in part by European funds, and participated in the demonstration of innovative solutions funded under the ST4W project to make multimodal urban logistics more sustainable: the barge #Zulu (Blue Line Logistics), the container #FlexiMalle (SOGESTRAN Group), the cargo bikes and the #BicyLift (URBY).
