On 27 august 2018 RAWFILL organised a workshop on the site of :metabolon in Lindlar, Germany. The objective of the workshop was the exchange of know-how, experiences and presentations of case studies in the field of landfill mining from Belgium, France and Germany. The workshop was hosted by BAV (Bergische Abfallwirtschaftsverband). In the first part of the workshop, there was a visit of the :metabolon site made by BAV and in the afternoon, presentations and discussions took place.
18 participants (project partners, associated partners and interested organisations) from the private and the public sector from Germany, France and Belgium attended the meeting and had the opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss about the landfill mining.
