In February the annual face-to-face meeting with all project partners was organized in Rouen (France) at CESI. During the first day the progress of the robot (mildew detection by the e-nose, robot development, interface) and the results of the experiments regarding the use of UV-C to control mildew in strawberry, tomato, cucumber, lettuce and basil were discussed.
The second day was dedicated to the long-term effect of this project (cost evaluation, simulation of UV-C implementation in practice in the long term) and project management. There was also time to visit CESI. During our tour at CESI we were introduced to virtual reality, 3D printers, laser printers, and to an interface to control automated robots.
