During the IWA Leading Edge Conference on Water and Wastewater Technologies in Edinburgh (IWA-LET) from 10 until 14 June, the Water Test Network (WTN) organised a successful network event. More than 40 people grasped the opportunity to learn more about the WTN and of course enjoyed a delicious breakfast.
The Breakfast Event focused on matchmaking. After a short introduction to the WTN’s test facilities network and the support packages, the project partners Water Alliance and Scottish water introduced themselves. Moreover, the attendees got the latest information about the Scottish Hydro Nation Water Innovation Services (HNWIS). After these short presentations there was an opportunity to network with each other and with several partners of the project. During this networking several interesting collaboration opportunities were explored. Furthermore, companies talked with representatives of the WTN about possible applications for support vouchers.
Next to the breakfast event, WTN partners Scottish Water and Water Alliance manned an exhibition stand during the IWA-LET where they promoted the WTN project and services.
Due to the fact the breakfast network event was very successful, the WTN will organise a similar network event at Aquatech Amsterdam from 5 till 8 November 2019.
