The second Interreg NWE call for projects in the 2021-2027 period received 76 proposals after its closure on Thursday 09 February 2023 at 12:00 noon (CET).
The NWE call 2 was open to open to all programme priorities and Specific Objectives (SOs): P1: Climate and environment (13 applications), P2: Energy transition (20 applications), P3: Circular economy (19 applications), P4: Innovation and resilience (11 applications) and P5: Inclusive society (13 applications).
The Joint secretariat will now assess the applications received, and Member State representatives will meet on 20-21 April 2023 to take decisions.
Approved step 1 projects will be invited to attend a step 2 workshop in Lille on 11-12 May 2023. The attendance at this meeting will be mandatory for all approved lead partners and registrations will be upon invitation only.
Interreg North-West Europe supports cooperation across borders in 7 countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Switzerland) by funding projects involving partners with a joint approach to tackle common issues. The aim is to reduce the disparities among regions and raise the overall level of performance across the whole area.
