The last event of the game jams phase will take place on March 26-27 at Teesside University - Darlington Campus (UK). After the preparation of the UK game jam (January 2019), the teams had time to work on their concepts and develop interesting prototypes of VR/AR applications for two clinical themes: pain management and Engagement and immersion.
The best solutions will be tested with patients and clinical personnel during the challenges.
UK GAME JAM: the last step before the challenges
During the preparation of the UK game jam (15-16 January 2019) we met the participants and we helped them in identifying the tools needed to develop their concepts into a prototype.
During these two days, we discussed topics concerning intellectual property, business plan, opportunities for external funding for innovation & research, and we defined together with the groups the technical support needed to develop the ideas.
We look forward to meeting the teams again in March: we can't wait to see the outcomes of their work. The best solutions will be further developed during the last phase of the VR4REHAB project: the challenges.
