The SKZ, a member of the Zuse-community, is a renowned independent facility for the polymer industry. It is sponsored by the FSKZ network, consisting of more than 400 member companies. Work areas cover research, services in the accredited testing lab, unique training activities and the certification of management systems. Areas of research include compounding, extrusion, injection moulding, welding, 3D printing, recycling, material properties as well as improving the sustainability of polymers.
