LTA is a public agricultural school that trains in natural sciences, agronomics and horticulture. It trains and encourages students to work as conscious young farmers, gardeners and foresters. The pedagogical concept is based on combining theory with practice by constantly linking school to applied research and agricultural enterprises. LTA has a strong experience in running applied research projects (on national and European scale) as a basis of knowledge transfer to students and farmers.
