BELGABROED - and associated Belgian hatcheries VERVAEKE-BELAVI and L'OEUF D'OR - is a family-owned and family-managed company with generations of expertise and passion. The activities of the companies are rearing & breeding of broiler breeders and hatching day-old chicks (classically in the hatchery but also via on-farm hatching with NestBorn). The production of day-old chicks in Belgium (various breeds) is about 2,5 million chicks per week.
