BAV is a local administrative union responsible for waste collection, development and updating of a waste management concept with a strong focus on circular economy, advising the public on waste prevention, resource efficiency and recycling, as well as the aftercare and revitalization of their landfill sites. Its Waste Disposal Centre Leppe is one of the most modern LFs in Europe and a reference facility for international experts in resource management, recycling and circular economy.
