The school has been recognised for its start- up and business growth advice with the award of a Small Business Charter Bronze Award and BSIS certification. They are presently running a UK-Institutional Links projects with Brazil on the use of IoT and Big Data in fishing. BED has handled a number of European projects involving robotics and IoT.
