Insight Centre for Data Analytics at NUI Galway (ICD) performs research in a range of research areas, including data management, knowledge discovery, and natural language processing, that is applied in a range of domains such as Smart Cities, IoT, eGovernment, Sustainable IT, and Life Sciences. ICD has been very successful in acquiring EU funding and holds a long track record in international projects. Currently, ICD is coordinator for 4 H2020 grants and a beneficiary in 11 other projects.
