Aeolix final conference

Hamburg, Germany – Over 120 participants attended the AEOLIX final conference entitled “The future of logistics data exchange and services” at the International Maritimes Museum in Hamburg. At this event, AEOLIX presented the results of a 3 year long research on supply chain visibility and interoperability involving 12 Living Labs and 18 European countries. Keynote speeches introduced the topic of logistics and digitalisation on national and international levels, before presentations of projects results by different project partners. The second part of the afternoon took form of an interactive session “Living Labs Marketplace” organised around 12 living labs who presented and demonstrated how the AEOLIX collaborative logistics ecosystem is tested and validated for their specific use cases. During Novalog Conference on June 21, 2019 in Rouen, presentation of the ST4W project, an open European digital platform for modal shift of goods by inland waterways by MULTITEL (Yves de Blic) and IDIT (Ludovic Couturier). Successful mid-term event in Paris

ST4W mid-term event brought together 43 people in Paris on 13 June 2019. We were happy to talk with you about the challenge of modal shift to waterway. In particular, we presented the first demonstration of the hierarchical tracking solution developed by the project. JRF vor Ort: Logistik im Wandel

On April 10, 2019, an event of the series "JRF vor Ort" took place at the DST - Development Center for Ship Technology and Transport Systems in Duisburg (Germany) with the title "Logistics in Transition: Modern Concepts and Technologies for Interurban Delivery in North Rhine-Westphalia". The Johannes Rau Research Community, the umbrella organization of non-university research institutes in North Rhine-Westphalia, hosted the event. The guests were presented with partial results of the ongoing investigations in four subgroups on logistics, ship technology, handling technology and information technology, and open points were discussed. Yves de Blic of the Belgian research institute Multitel ASBL presented the concept of hierarchical monitoring of shipments along the waterways, which is being developed within the framework of ST4W.
