BAV is a local administrative union responsible for waste collection, development and updating of a waste management concept, advising the public on waste prevention and recycling, as well as the aftercare and revitalisation of their landfill sites. Its Waste Disposal Centre Leppe is one of the most modern LFs in Europe and a reference facility for international experts. Leppe is a competence, learning and innovation site for material conversion and environmental technology & techniques.
