Scottish Canals are currently involved in the regeneration of Bowling harbour which has been identified as a pilot site for the project. It is proposed that freshwater sediments will be reused utilising innovative civil engineering techniques to deliver a sustainable flood and erosion management solution for the site to permit future development.
