Low carbon
We want to support the shift towards a low carbon economy in all sectors, promote sustainable transport and remove bottlenecks in key network infrastructures. Transport is the largest consumer of energy in North-West Europe and one of the sectors with the greatest potential for energy savings. Mobility and sustainable transport are also key to the smooth operation of the internal market and for North-West Europe to remain the powerhouse of Europe.
