We are pleased to invite you to attend the online seminar and presentation inspired by the REAMIT project, on Saturday 12th of June 2021 at 6 PM (India time) which is 13.30 (GMT).
The presentation will focus on the application of IoT and Big Data technologies in reducing food waste in Europe, and will be delivered by Ram Ramanathan and Lohithaksha Maiyar.

Professor Yanqing Duan from the University of Bedfordshire, Business School, has been invited to give an online presentation of the REAMIT project at the International Conference on Intelligent Agriculture (ICIA2021), taking place at Tianjin, China on 20-22 May 2021.
The focus of Yan’s presentation will be on demonstrating the applications and benefits of using Big Data and IoT sensors for reducing food waste in food supply chains based on REAMIT experience, therefore it will help to prompt the exploration of new applications and wider adoption of emerging digital technologies in food supply chains.
Presenting the REAMIT project at this international conference will be an excellent opportunity to reach new stakeholders and attract new research collaborations in China and beyond, who are also involved in reducing food waste. Read More

Dr. Pat Doody, Co-founder and Director of the IMaR Research Centre, Munster Technological University, Ireland, presented the REAMIT project at the Enterprise Ireland Technology Gateways online event on 18th of March 2021. Reducing food waste is an absolute priority for the EU (88M tonnes or € 143B per year of waste), which is committed to halving food waste by 2030 by focusing on all stages of the chain supply.
In partnership with Images & Réseaux, and as part of its participation in the European REAMIT project, Valorial will organize on November 5, at the Hôtel de Région in Nantes, a symposium on Food Waste.
This event, which will bring together nearly 200 European players, aims to raise awareness of agri and agro-industries on the theme of food waste by providing them with solutions to the problems they encounter throughout the supply chain. Read More
REAMIT project partners will be meeting for the 3nd RSC+RAC+WP meeting. The meeting will be hosted by Whysor B.V in the Netherlands. We had original arrangeed for this meeting to take place in The Netherlands but was moved to an online meeting, due to the current pandemic.
