Representatives from 8 different London burroughs and the London European Partnership for Transport (LEPT) visited Arnhem on 13th of May for the purpose of knowledge sharing. Nottingham City Council (NCC) has installed an additional solar PV system at Eastcroft Depot, one of the key components of the NCC’s CleanMobilEnergy city pilot. Energy generated by the PV will be used power buildings and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) chargers; then, using battery storage and an iEMS management system, any excess energy will support load balancing and grid export. The official CleanMobilEnergy ice skating team performed well during the Alternative Eleven Cities Tour, which was organized on the Weissensee in Austria on the 25th of January. Sporting specially-designed CME uniforms, two members of the CME team skated 200 km and three skated 100 km. Read More
On the 7th of December 2018, CME Ambassadsor Cathelijne Bouwkamp officially opened to the public the CME cold ironing installation in Arnhem. This installation will first run on the normal energy mix of the Netherlands (base line operation) and will be connected to the solar field in 2020. Read More
